As the title suggests, this is a blog about my dissertation. Or, as it feels right now, it's a blog about my non-dissertation.

Yesterday I had an interview with Mr. B. This was the first time he and I have talked in something like six weeks. There was nothing extraordinary there. I found out he finished Tom Robbins Villa Incognito recently and I was curious to read that book. He switched to using a PowerBook. One use that he has for it was curious to me. He has a stereo at home hooked up to his PC. Then he hooks up the PowerBook to that PC to play internet radio or music stored on the PowerBook. It sounded a little odd to me, but he said it seemed like a perfectly natural thing to him
